What's included?

Currently, all services include library preparation, sequencing and a suite of bioinformatics analyses. We'll also store your data for a minimum of 12 months. For more information please visit our FAQ.

Do I have to pay VAT?

VAT is applicable to all UK based orders. For non-UK orders, you will not be subject to VAT but local taxes may apply.

Strain Submission Criteria

Your samples must be prepared according to our protocol and submitted in the tubes that we provide with a PRINTED label.

The following criteria must also be met:

The genus taxonomy of the strain is known.
The strains should be Hazard Groups 1 or 2 (Biosafety Levels 1 or 2) as defined in “The Approved List of biological agents” from UK’s Health and Safety Executive (HSE). For Hazard Group 3 organisms, please Contact Us.
The strains must be bacterial (we do not accept viruses or eukaryotes) - for non-bacterial samples please send DNA free of viable organisms.
The strains must not be listed on the Anti-terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001, SCHEDULE 5.

PLEASE NOTE: If any of your samples do not comply with any of the above we can still accept them as DNA for our Short Read service.
